OUR PREVENTIVE SERVICES

Keep your smile healthy  and prevent diseases with our preventative services.

Dental Cleanings & Exams

Regular dental cleanings and exams are crucial to keeping your teeth healthy. It is recommended that you visit the dentist for a cleaning and dental health exam at least every six months in order to keep your mouth in optimal health. Along with examining your teeth, the dentist will also check for signs of disease such as gingivitis or oral cancer.

Tooth Extractions

If you have a strong and persisting toothache, it could be the result of infected and dying dental tissue deep within your teeth. If you are in need of a tooth extraction, our caring dental team will make sure that you are as comfortable as possible and will take great care to make the operation as painless as can be. Removing a dead tooth often immediately relieves much of the pain that is associated with a diseased tooth and can greatly improve your quality of life.

Oral Hygiene

Good oral hygiene is an important part of your overall health. Keeping your teeth clean can help prevent gum disease and fight off cavities. It's important to consider the basics which are: brush your teeth twice a day, use proper brushing equipment, keep your equipment clean and know when to replace your toothbrush.

Periodontal Care

Periodontal disease, or gum disease, is commonly overlooked, but it is a disease that affects 80% of adults in the United States. One of the treatment options that the dentist may suggest is scaling and root planing, a non-surgical procedure that removes the causes of the disease and inflammation.

Emergency Treatment

Dental emergencies can be painful and sometimes life threatening. If your experiencing a dental emergency, feel free to give us a call.

Composite (White) Fillings

Cavities can occur when plaque builds up and damage the tooth enamel. Bacteria react with sugars in the mouth and turns into acid, which dissolves the enamel of the teeth and creates holes that are known as cavities. Composites can be used to restore decayed teeth as well as be used to make cosmetic enhancements to the teeth by altering the color or shape. Composites are an aesthetically pleasing option because they are carefully matched to the natural color of the teeth.
